Stepping Stones: Children's Health and Nutritional Care Education (SSCHANCE)

Why SSCHANCE? 

 

"We give the kids toothbrushes, but we're not sure if they are going to use them properly." 

It was one simple phrase that sparked the birth and growth of SSCHANCE. While Andrew and I were helping pack medication for a medical mission trip, a doctor expressed this concern. Andrew and I wanted to find a way to teach kids basic health education, and after much reflection, we came to the conclusion that coloring books could be an effective, engaging, and fun way to help children. 

Education is a fundamental part of empowerment, and through these coloring books, we hope that more children will feel empowered to take care of their own health and protect their communities. As we expand SSCHANCE, we want to create stepping stones that children can cross, one by one, to reach a better future.
